Is it the fuel gauge sender?
I've got an '87 GXL, anytime the tank drops below half the gauge goes straight to E. I was thinking it's probably the sender unit but if anyone has other ideas please post. I'de be pissed if I replaced the fuel sending unit and it still didn't work right. Thanks.
