Lets Work Together To Fix This!!!!
Ok.... We all know that a overheating rotary is..... VERY BAD....
And we all know that the cooling systems are nothign to brag about. At least not stock. Ive seen more then a few times people's heater core hose breaking. That sucks. First mistake they made was not putting a cap on the radiator itself. Or maygbe there should be somethign to give BEFORE hoses. First off lets decide on a good replacment for the heater core. Gosh I live in the florida keys for crying out loud. Its 100 degrees plus humitidy. Is it ok to block this off right at the block??n Second, since it happend, minutes AFTER i had shutoff my NON overheating engine and then got pregnant and popped, there has to be some other way of the coolent to cool down then to be flowing.
ANyway whats a good wya to completely redo the cooling system for top of the line cooling.?

best thing to do is the aluminum radiator and an electric fan. Since you live in such a warm climate, You can take out the heater core and just run a hose from the out to the in on the block.
Another thing racing beat told me to do was to gut your thermostat. This is bettter than not haveing one at all since some resriction slows down the coolant flow so it can pick up more heat from the motor and drop off more heat at the radiator. If you do cut the cat you have to plug the bypass pipe underneight the thermostat. You can do this with a 1/2 inch pipe tap and a plug. But what I did instead of gutting it is to make a "C" shaped "pedistal" cut the spring on the thermo extended the disc completly and placed this "shaft" on it to keep it from closing. this way the thermo is open all the time and the hole is plugged too in one step.
It is expensive to get the fluidyne rad ($440) but it is worth it.
