I've been looking around for a good car, something i could enjoy driving and doing up and hopefully learn to drift in. I've finally got settled on an rx-7. I'm looking for a series 5 and i think i've found one.

Only problem is its auto, Is it worthwhile to swap it to a 5 spd manual ? And also does it have an lsd ? Are there many common faults with the Series 5 ? Sorry for all the questions, thanks !!!

That's a bit high.....even with a rebuild. With $12,500 you could get decent running 3rd gen (FD)

 

This is Australian dollars. I wish i could get an FD for that price in Aust.

austrailian currency is almost exactlly like canadian $$$ i think its 1 - 1.06
i got my 10AE for $5500 CAD thats 5,834.23 AUD if i were you i would look for something else!

 

What model is this ? Is it a GTU or GXL ? I'm trying to figure what comes standard with it. Does it have lsd is my main concern? And how can i tell the difference between the GTU and GXL ?
