its just a shame that that engine blew today with only 3100 miles. yes 31 hundred. absolutely no compression on rotor 2 and about 55 psi on rotor one. i spent over $6000.00 on that rebuild project too while doing all my own labor. im gonna go cry now. we wont mention the manufacturer at this time.

 

Holy **** dude. Thats unbelieveable! I see you have a 91...have you considered checking or replacing your OMP? I ask because I had a friend who went through 2 rebuilds because of a bad pump, and it wasnt setting off any codes to let you know it went bad, but nonetheless the engine was running with no oil to the seals each time. When I had my 89, I ran premix religiously because of this. Something to consider.

vaughnc, how much were those chrome headers that you put on your engine?? and was it hard to put them on?? also, how much horsepower gain did you get from putting them on? i like that engine setup.

 

I think Philip just polished his headers.

 

oh. it looks real cool though. do you know how much chrome headers would cost, and how much hp gain you get from them?

 

 

nice engine. how much did u spend on sway bars? ever think of putting in an elctric fan?
