leaky power steering

My power steering rack is leaking from the area where the steering rod enters the rack.. the boots themselves are cracked and worn and the oil leaks pretty bad outta of the drivers side, and some out of the passenger side..

I spent last night tearing the whole thing outta the car and cleaned it up with some diesel.. it's sitting on the garage floor now, today after work/school i'm gonna tear it apart..

there's no play in the steering everything is fine, I only wanna change the seals on the shafts of the tie rod so i don't bleed everywhere I go and so the car can pass inspection...

how hard is it get the seals out? and are the seals themselves something universal and easy to find or is it super unique and different? i took a look at the FSM but the B&W pics are pretty vague and not so helpful.. i'd like to hear from someone who's done it...

thanks
