Leaky injector??

Is there a way to check if and/or which injector is leaking? (with the intake and everything still on the car)

I'm having, from what I can tell, a random flooding problem. It doesn't seem to matter if I run it for 5 min or 1 hr. Sometimes I have to unplug the fuel pump to unflood it, sometimes it starts fine. I'm lost.

thanks.

Drive your car, park.... wait a couple hours.. .then remove your injectors. The one with gas dripping off the end is the leaky one. Hehe.

How many miles ya got on it.... Maybe your compression sucks?

The block has 85,000 mi on it. I've been meaning to check compression just to see how it's doing, but it's been frikin' cold and I have no garage.

If you have the injectors already up, might as well do a leak check.

Zip-ties work well for this!

Would this be an effective way to check?

Leave them in the fuel rail. Jump the fuel pump connector(by the shock tower). Turn the key on and see if they drip. Being sure, of course, to zip tie them to keep them from shooting out of the rail.

As the Fonz would say, exactamundo!

I believe that is straight out of the Haynes manual.
