Leaks leaks and more leaks!!!

My S4 GXL currently sprung about two leaks almost spontaneously. (figures this happens right when I get a 200sx as a project car, I swear the 7 is jealous).

After driving my car and parking it, if i get out and look I see a puddle of oil on the ground. I've done the math and it leaks about a quart of oil every 4-5 days. Anyone have any idea where the common oil spots are for it to leak? I've gotten under the car and looked and from what I can tell it's not the oil drain plug, but it seems like its coming from somewhere above the oil pan.

Leak Number two!!! Power steering!

My power steering system goes through about a bottle every two days. I cant see any fluid dripping on the ground, so I'm lost as far as this goes. visual inspection on the pump doesnt spot any fluid droplets falling off. P.S. , Anyone know how to bleed the system? I've searched but nothing to detailed.

take your car to the pressure washer and clean the hell out of the bay
then you can see where the oil is coming from cause it will be the only fresh oily part. the only way to fix the power steering leak is to take that bs out of your car and do a manual conversion on your power rack

Or you could check and replace the power steering hoses. They tend to get holes in them and leak.

I agree, they can definately get jelous. Mine commited suicide when my daughter was born....

As for the leak, I second the idea of cleaning off the engine bay so you can see where the leaks are coming from.

Check the oil cooler lines and front cover gasket.

P/S leaks can sometimes be hard to find. Could be a pinhole leak in the high pressure hose near the rack. Suggest you just replace your P/S hoses. Rock Auto sells both high and low pressure lines for cheap.

Engine oil leaks can be hard to find too. Oil leak could be oil cooler lines, filter pedestal o-rings, sending unit, rear main seal, etc. If you can't pinpoint the leak, than you might want to buy an engine oil leak dye kit.
