I started my seven to move it, long story short this is my friends account btw. The car's mine but my grandma let me bei n his name. So its a second gen so I'm posting here.

Now when its started it idles high I read is the warm up cycle thing BUT it dosent go down to 750RPM like it used to it stays high till the engine is at 70% hot on the gauge. Also theres a high pitched scretching sound right once it revs up thats the belts right? I didnt rev it to 3K cuz of my grandma she knos about the cycle tho.

I moved it monday of posting this, there was white smoke and it hurt my nose and clouded the area behind me didnt burn my eyes tho I didnt smell it to see if it was sweet but today it dosent smell that sweet but it dosent smell like alcohol.

I started it two days after since I wanted to see if there was asmuch white smoke

Turned key, car jumps up trying to start for about 10 seconds, battary starts dying and it cycles slower, suddenly catching and reving super high then 1.5K (didnt do its 3K rpm rev)

So then I look behind cuz I smell sweet stuff and theres a cloud of white smoke behind me and a liquid outof the pipes like some liquid shot out I think the long start was caused by a flood of coolent? No reason for the engine to flood I've started this seven plenty of times but we did believe it to have bad seals.

Today I start it to smell the coolent - today is a different day so I couldnt quite see the white but some angles I could see white smoke hitting my grandma's mustang and going up ward looked like cigarette smoke cept i couldnt see it well. Also smells sweet.

Anyway to tell if this is a leak? I'm not going to say the hole story between my dad but is there anyway to prove its a leak or anyway to make it constant I DONT care if the car has badseals I'm going to store it at my friends house but my grandma wasnt thinking right and let him have ownership of it so now if the cars bad my dad told me HE DOSENT want to change the engine but if it isnt hes going to take the car from me so in otherwords I want it to be bad in someway the seals seem to be on and off bad so if I can prove to him its not good anymore he will let me buy it off of him
