Leaking coolant until engine is warm.

Hey everyone, I have a 1986 GXL with a coolant leak. It only leaks for about 2-3 min until the engine is warm and then stops. It appears to be coming out of the weep hole on the bottom of the water pump. I have attached a short video of the leak. I am about %90 sure it needs a new water pump but would like to get a second opinion here.

Water pumps are designed to leak out of the weep hole when they need to be replaced.

Only other option is if there was a small leak from the water pump gasket, and the metal expands to seal the leak.

Either way, water pump needs to come off and gasket needs to be replaced so just put a new water pump on.

Appreciate the quick response, was hesitant to order a new pump because I don't hear any whining/haven't had issues with cooling but will order one right now.

While you're at it, don't forget the gasket from the water pump housing to the front iron. That gasket is also loosened when removing the water pump. It looks like a kidney bean with a line down the middle.
