Leaking coolant... Water pump?

I know my car(1985 gsl se) has been leaking coolant for a while but because its been cold it wasn't too big of a problem. Now tat its warm again the problem has become more daunting. The leak has also become significantly worse i parked the other day for about an hour after driving for about 15 minutes(damn dmv) and when i cam back out about half my coolant was puddled under the car. It doesn't leak consistently but i does leak a lot. Ive looked for the leak and it doesn't seem to be coming from the radiator. I see coolant on top of the engine on both sides so im thinking the only way it could get there is from the water pump. Any thoughts?

Be more specific at to location of the leak. If it's at the top of the engine just below the carb, it's the intake o-rings. If it's at the waterpump itself, it may be coming from the weep hole, indicating the waterpump seal and bearing are failing. Be sure inspect all coolant and heater hoses while you're looking. rotarys will not tolerate overheating like piston engines will.

See my sig line for link to the online FSMs.
