I didn't think our cars would run with only the trailing- how are you verifying that the leading is falling off. Does it die?
If the original leading coil was fried, and you replaced it and now have the same problems, it's time to start checking the wiring and ECU timing signals...

yes my car is running off the trailing with some timing adjustments. when i hook my timing light up to the leading coil plug wires and start cranking i get spark for a few seconds then just stops and i tested the coil ignitor assembly and it is fine

Pull a leading plug and visually check for spark- timing lights are notoriously unreliable on our rotaries...
If your coil reads out good, and you're getting power from the main relay with key on (black/ yellow wire), and you're getting the .8v or so timing signal while cranking (green/ yellow), you should be good to go...
Or you could use Hailer's trick of setting the plugs (connected) on the engine and spinning the CAS by hand to watch the fireworks... Key on, of course...
