Leading Coil aint getting spark.?

Leading Coil aint getting spark.?

alright i moved my leading ( i bielieve ) coil ( its the one by the battery ). i moved it to where the subzero fluid resivor was. due to front mount intercooler install. i extended the wires like needed, but now those plugs are not getting sparrk.. what do i need to do/check to get them to get spark..

are they properly grounded? The ignitors/coil get their ground reference through the original mounting studs

Yah, check the grounds. And while you are at it, check all your other grounds.

If it worked before than like these guys say, check to make sure its grounded.

You can also check to make sure the coil is good by checking resistance. Remove the black plastic cover and check the resistance on the terminal screws. Black probe on one terminal screw, red probe on the other. From memory, resistance should be somewhere between 0.2-2 Ohms.

yes you guys are right.. it is not getting a good ground.. i moved it back to where it was and it works.. how do i ground a coil properly.. i have the coil screwed into the chassis with some of the paint sanded off.. what else would it take to ground it.. ?

run a cable from the negative terminal of the battery and secure it to the body of the ignitor
