Ok I have been working on rebuilding the car after a fire and learning more then I ever thought I could. lol anyway I’m scared that I might have forgotten something before I turn the key. I guess you could just called me paranoid. I don’t have a drive shaft yet so I don’t need to worry about driving it around, just starting up the beast. I have oil, coolant, anything else. I don’t want watch it blow up because of something stupid I forgot.

 

Does the car have fresh gas in it?

 

yup, removed the omp and put some two stroke oil mix in it. This was also a na to T2 swap. so its 91 octane

 

its alive. after 9 months it runs. not well, but it runs.

 

After it has idled for maybe 30 minutes, do an initial compression check.
It will be low until you finish the break in period, but it should be even.
