Lancer evo seats?

Lancer evo seats?

Hey guys my friend said he'd sell me his Recaros out of his Lancer Evo 8..that rich punk wants brides -jealous- anyways back on topic, if I drilled my stock rails do you think I could get the evo seats to fit onto them? And do you think I would have any issues with fitment? Anyways I'm getting them for $500 if I know they fit..that's pretty good I think. My other friend said that the evo 8 seats sell for 400+ each. These are in excellent condition (what'd you expect on a brand new car..) So any clue?

#1 please change your siganture, 6 lines is all that is allowed by the admins.

#2 anything can fit if you build custom brackets. The stock rails won't fit however without some sort of custom bracket.

#3 remember that the FC seats are designed to fit down into the car, so often aftermarket or other model seats do not fit nearly as low as the stock seats, so if you are the least bit tall, this reduced headroom may be an issue.

you can always get recaro brackets for the recaro SRD.
I think thats the same model seat and hopefully would be the same bracket but it is a OEM product and may have a different bracket system but I highly doubt that.

500 is expensive, U could get some no name seats for under 400. The one I got came with brackets also, they just had to be cut to fit the floor.

so you finally got those huh what did or is he putting in the evo
has he done anything else to that thing
i want to see him run it at the track so i know what he runs

yeah i think the way you want to go will work just unbolt the stock brackets from both seats and mount the 7's on the lancers you may want to add a couple bolts if you can so its a lil tighter . my wife and i want the stock evo seats for her oz lancer so for the price your getting them at its a steal

I heard those evo seats were worth a lot more than 500..sorry if I didn't word it correctly, but will the stock fc brackets fit by just drilling holes in them? Like Karack drilled his brackets for his ebay seats and they bolted right up to the seats.
Cosmo- He has 3" turbo back, intake filter, boost controller, and weight reduction (removed everything from trunk area, carbon fiber stuff, LIGHT rims, prolly some other stuff.) uhh other than that I'm not sure. He's planning on a stage 3 turbo upgrade, 720cc injectors, and other stuff. He expects over 400 hp to the wheels and to be in mid to low 12's. That's all he has planned on the immediate future.
