Question Lack of Power above 3500rpm and "light"

Hello, and thanks for trying to help .

Vehicle is 91 Rx-7 Non-Turbo Manual Trans.

Vehicle Runs Great below 3500rpm, once this mark is hit the Service Engine soon Light comes on and it misses and spudders. I can shut the Ignition off and restart it and everything is great, until I hit the 3500rpm mark again.

The "check engine" light reads Codes 27, and 37. Something to do with the oil metering system. Im still lost on that one also.

Any help that can be given would be Great. In advance I want to say Thank you.

Oh boy. Stop driving the car hard. If you're getting the MOP codes you're going into limp home mode.

This means your MOP or the system is FUCKED! You need to find a replacement pump asap.

No problem you migh also want to drive your second/first car if you have one. Often times a bad MOP makes the ECU go bad too. Look on the for sale forum for an S5 MOP and you will want to look into testing the ECU to be sure its not bad aswell.
