damn, i was hope/thinking those were on an RX7 for a second
wonder how difficult it would be to mold a pair of those onto an rx...as well as how decent they would look.

Considering the totally different curves compared to an FC, I imagine even a good job would look pretty awful. If you want something similar, get S5 taillights. It'll be a lot easier and cheaper, and you know it'll look good.
