Man that stock aero lip on TIIs looks sexy. Would I be considered a ricer if I put the aero lip on my NA. That black plastic strip of a lip isn't cutting it.

that should be rice? are you kidding? stop breaking your head about such things. a lip is never rice if it doesnt destroy the whole look of the car concept. my 89 TII is without a lip, and im getting one this month. still have some JDM/EUDM mirrors laying around, switched over to AERO S5 ones the JDM Mirrors are better quality, but the AERO are lighter and more aerodynamic.

@Turbo II

i looked up at your pictures yesterday, before you had posted them because i wanted to see your gauge panel again, haha. really nice car, i would like to have the stock rims.. because i have some italy "ETA BETA" wheels on, and they suck hard.
thanks for your pictures, now i have an image of what it would look like

@DrifterDuo
the infini wheels are not the same as the stock TII S5 wheels. The infini are the convertible BBS wheels, but in 16in. and with the infini logo centercaps

I'm looking for good shocks too.

So Racing Beat springs plus AGX adjustable or Tokico Blues (non-adjustable)? Is that a good match or will there be too much bounce?

Just one more thing: polypropylene bushings still confuse me. If I don't want the ride to be too harsh, should I avoid them? Or should I get them and get springs&shocks that are a little softer to compensate?

hmmm, i didnt know they had vert rims with infini center caps, mine just came with mazda center caps, are those only available in japan? Do the 16" infini rims have the lip like the 15" vert rims or are they like the regular 16" vert/turbo rims, with no lip?

the infini BBS wheels came only with the INFINI FC, a limited special version of the fc

here is a pic of the rims

as you see, they are the same as the convertible BBS but 16inch, and have the stylish infini logo instead of "mazda"

here is an infini with the wheels -> thx to "87GTR" thats his car in japan, i love it

i would murder for those wheels

The KYB AGX's have a wider damping range.
The AGX's are just better hands down.

Adjustments on the AGX's are pretty easy too. The front takes about 3 seconds with a small screwdriver, the backs are a little more involved just because it's hard to see the numbers - I have a little stainless steel mirror with a handle, that makes it a lot easier.

I am using the Racing Beat springs, it's a daily driver and I don't need a massive drop. I can't complain about the handling, the car's limits so far are a bit higher than mine ;-)

i called kayaba germany today, just because we need the "ABE" for several autoparts.. because of laws. they told me i dont need any ABE for the adjustable KYB AGX, YAY! awesome! just plug n play never thought it would be so easy over here.
with tokico i should have some problems i think.

ps.
for all the others which were interested in the 2x NEW AGX for 100bucks in the sales section, i GOT EM!

i have a question

i've heard people say that they actually noticed the car looked higher because of the old, tired springs they were replacing.
does anyone agree with this, or have had experiance with this?

i really want to get KYB w/ RB springs, but i need to do my homework first.
