KYB Struts

Well, my rear struts are leaking and I am looking for replacements. Anyone have anything to say about the KYB GR2? Found this site with very good prices:

http://www.shockwarehouse.com/cgi-bi...ks/search.html

I am just looking for a quality replacement, non-adjustable shock for a daily driver. This is for a 90 GXL. (will ditch the AAS).

ReTed are you out there?

I know that www.k2rd.com has a special on KYB AGX adjustibles right now. $355 for all 4. I plan on getting these. As for the GR2s....I have no idea.

KYB AGX are the best shocks for the money out there. K2RD has a really good deal on them too.

Yeow!&nbsp Those guys are expensive!&nbsp You're looking to replace only the fronts?&nbsp KYB only makes a GR-2 replacement for the fronts...&nbsp If you're willing to pay almost $100 for them, I would suggest going with Tokico HP (non-adjustables) from http://www.shox.com/ - these are SUPERIOR over the KYB GR-2's.

Oooops.....bad link. Your right Ted, no GR2's for the rear. So, it looks like Tokico HP's for me. Unless you know of any other non-adjustables, besides stock.

Tokico HP non-adustables are the STANDARD by which I measure all repalcement OEM shocks.&nbsp For the price, these things are unbeatable.&nbsp They are a little stiffer than stock, and nicely complement the stock springs.&nbsp They have a "limited lifetime warranty", so if you run into any problems, Tokico will replace them for you.

Thanks Ted. I had Tokico Illuminas on my 1st. gen 12 years ago, I just wanted to see if there was anything comparable to Tokicos, but non-adjustable.
