kyb and intrax install and thoughts.
Well, I got done installing the suspension myself.... It took about 8 hours.. Pain in the *** to do yourself unless you have a good garage with all the tools, but nevertheless, I got it done.
Now, I did quite a bit of research and everyone was talking about intrax not being a good spring. Against all the thoughts and research, I found just as much people praising the intrax spring as far as drop and a little more comfy than a stiffer spring (i.e eibach, rb)
Thoughts......
I wanted to replace my worn out suspension, but I also wanted a drop, my beautiful tII looked like a 4x4.
The drop is bad ***.. My fender gap is gone, the car droped almost to a perfect hight. Approx drop on my car. 1.4". (i will post pics soon)
The ride and handling. Badass. The kyb adjustables are just plain sweet. On the lowest (softest) settings, the car rode NICER than with my stock setup yet felt more confident in the corners.
The kyb turned all the way up (stiff) That is the most badass feeling in the world!!!!! The ride was still surprisingly not that bad, but man the response was great, cornering was even greater....
Overall, Im very very pleased with this setup. I just wanted a good look (lower) with a lot better handling, I think this is the way to go if your car is a street/track car.

BTW: I just got back from the dyno.... 10psi, UNTUNED microtech, STOCK topmount with my streetport & hybrid t04 = 287rwhp!!!!!
Hehe, tuned, 15psi, fmic= hopefully 350rwhp!!!
Ill try and get pics asap.

My rule of thumb is - drop it but still get the jack under the car. That's about 1/4 down on my Ground Control coilovers. I have about 5/8 of an inch of clearance between the jack & various jack points.
Also, with the adjustables you can figure out your weight distribution with you in the car, then make the passengers side a bit softer for even better handling & balance

I also got the kybs and suspnsion tech springs they were suppose to be 1" lowering but I cannot tell a differnce since my stock suspension was worn to hell, I can confrim every goodspeed said the Kybs on the tightest is the shocker, where you would normally over/understeer, it would just grip, and these are on 205s! AutoX was almost an ease!
