If the thread originator would like the thread re-opened, he can PM myself or any second gen technical section with a valid reason of why this thread should be re-opened.

But frankly the couple of members attacking and the useless posts by several other members, suggests that a calm and coherant discussion is not going to happen on this subject. Either that or some members need to grow up.
