KTS Coilovers

Just curious if anyone here has KTS coilovers on their FC. I did some searching but didn't really come up with anything. Check them out at http://www.splparts.com
Thanks

I've been considering getting these for a while now. I've ridden in KTS coilovers on an s14 chassis and they are pretty damn stiff even at the softest settings.

Seems like a lot of S13 and S14 guys run them, they're supposed to be great for the price. Inverted monotube, 15 way adjustable, and come with camber plates. And if you blow a shock, they can ship you all new ones for $550, the cost of overhauling some of the other brands. I'm thinking of giving them a shot.

BUT the spring rates are kinda high (9/7) and the pistons aren't huge (38mm).

Has anyone run Memoryfabs? They're pretty inexpensive and look beefy (46 mm pistons).

Just in case, you should consider what servicing is available for the coilover you buy. Dont want to wait forever for a replacement shock or sending your shock for servicing coming back from Japan.

Good point actually. Makes me consider everything, espcially with anywhere to 2 to 4 month downtimes.

spl has a great reputation for customer service with their products

the kts coilovers so far have gotten nothing but positive reviews from 240sx owners.

indeed, you spend $500 and get brand new shocks with no downtime; much better then spending the same $$$ and waiting three months for a mad jdm tyte company to remanufacture your shocks and send them back to to you.

ok so i ordered these today, special order means 3 weeks there is downtime for replacement shocks, 3 weeks also. expect a review in a month also when someone pointed out the piston diameter is 38mm i believe that's only for the fronts, the rears are 46mm, at least that's what it says under the S13 page. . .

edit: people buy these maybe they will stock some replacements shocks if enough people buy the coils.

didn't ask about custom spring rates, and total should be a bit over 1200 shipped
