knock sensor wiring

I recently found that my knock sensor wire was cut by the previous owner. I'd like to reconnect it so I can log it on my PFC.

I found another black wire coming from the AIT and TPS harness that was cut that looked like it would reach the cut portion of the knock sensor, but the gauges were different. Nonetheless I attempted to jump the two to see if luck was on my side. Does anyone know if this is the right wire or know where the wire should be?

it should be a gray wire with a shield, if it is chances are its the right one. or you could do a continuity check with a meter back at the Knock control unit

The wire coming from the TPS and AIT harness is black and unshielded. I'm thinking it's wrong, but I did get a knock reading of two with them jumped together, that's twice what I usually get lol. I'll have to keep digging around, if anyone could post a pic of where your knock sensor wiring harness runs that would be appreciated!

Quit bumping! Anyway, just do the continuity check between the suspected wire and where it is supposed to connect to the knock box. The knock sensor wire does come off the harness by the TPS and AIT sensor plugs.
