Are you able to compression test if?

Hi
I've been reading a little about engine compression test and could not find the answer I'm looking for. Are you able to perform a compression test if the turbo charger isn't attach to the block? I'm using regular spark plug reading test.
thank you

Compression takes place on the spark plug side of the engine. It doesn't matter if the exhaust is non-existent. You're measuring from a sealed (or mostly sealed) chamber.
