Ok, i used a meter on the one side of the harness for the knock wire and probe that same color wire at the other end and it shows nothing does that mean theres a breakage in the wire somewhere. If so can i rig up a wire from the knock sensor straight to the cpu pin. Its a ninety harness so dint think i have a knock control unit . THanks

I would have actually verified you were on the correct pin with the FSM.
