I need a K&N cone filter part # for a 90 NA. I have seen some people with a really tiny filter, I want a good sized one, not one for a lawnmower;-) See my girlfriend wants to buy me one for my car for valentines day, so I want to give her the part # so she can go to the parts store. Any help is appreciated. I am sure that part #'s have been posted before but I could not find it with the search button. Thanks.

 

I use a "ru-28-20" on my car, it fit directly on the mafs, is all you need is a hose clamp (you dont need an adapter on the s5, no one told me that) its a decently sized filter, not huge, but a good size.

 

Thanks dude, I appreciate it. Yeah i dont want huge either, but like the kits that have the adapter plate have really small filter elements. My buddy and I made an adapter for his 88 vert out of aluminum. Thank God I don't need one for my 90.

 

Yeah, I bought a kit from ebay, one of the nicer ones with a better filter. only becuase i thought i needed the adapter like on the s4's. so yeah. Make a cold air box too, its easy as hell.
