Just wondering

How much does it cost to install the 3rd gen engine to put it into the 2nd gen?

and a complete waste of money IMO, 13BREW has a short engine life compared to all rotaries and you can get either a 20BTT or a really nice 13BT setup, both of which COMPLETELY stomping anything the stock REW can put out. FD's are great looking vehicles but if i ever got one i would take the REW out and throw it away

$10,000 minimum if you are paying someone else for the work.

Can be less if you do the work yourself.

But still a waste of time.

I thought it would be even more than 10k due to all the custom fabrication involved. Anyway, if you really want the 3rd gen engine, go for the 13B-RE. Its similar and has engine mounts that are close to teh right place for our cars. Theres a good writeup showing what all is involved here: http://fc3spro.com/TECH/SWAP/COSMO/13b-re.html
