When I just put the key in and energize the ignition but not start it , the cars oil pressure slowly goes to past the gauges reading. Would anyone know why ?

The engine doesent really have oil through the system. Its dry

Sure you have it hooked up to the pressure sending unit and not something else? Either that or your sender is dead (which is fairly common) Did it work before?

Is the connecter right under the oil filter ? Or is it that round gold ball thing ?

It's a big fat round thing right below the oil filter, about a 1.5-2" diameter with a little 'peg' sticking out of the middle of it, the connector is a white 1 wire recantgular connector that slides on it sideways.

Well, if you've never used this sender before, it could be bad, or your gauge could have decided to go out on you, both likely canidates.

Before you start the motor von, dump a quart of oil down inside oil filter base. You know where the oil filter goes to the motor. A motor starting up "dry" is not a good thing. CJ
