Just took it for a drive...

Hey guys, I just replaced my driveshaft and exhaust, but it took me 2 weeks before I finally got around to doing it last night. Well anyway, I had my car up on jackstands the whole time, the whole two weeks, and when I put the car down on the ground and prepped for a test drive. I tested the shocks and it seemed like they took a lot more time to react than before I lifted the car. Does the negative effects of the shocks have to do with the fact that the car was lifted, or is there really something wrong with the shocks?
