Just a thought...
I've been having OMP problems recently and have been considering my options. I had an idea today, the car's a 1990 N/A, if I were to get Rtek 1.0 could I run an S4 mechanical OMP? I figure there's probably differences between the pumps that make improbable without some fabrication. But, it was just a theory. I searched but didn't find anything with definite details, so insight is helpful. Thanks!
It's not that I don't want to. I just plan to sell the car in the future to go to an S4 TII. For now I'll delete it and go to Rtek. It was just an idea because then I'd never run risk of limp mode and I could install the pump and make it easier to sell without getting rid of the Rtek.

You'd be screwin with that car more than you'd be drivin it.
I'd get the Rtek, and call it a day.,.and PREMIX!..If you go to sell it say that the s5 came with an inferior oiling system and Premixing BY FAR is the best alternative.!
If not,you are getting into changing front covers,Omp's and Throttle bodies?(maybe)..How can the S5 TB operate the mechanical rod for the S4 OMP?

I was asking in a theoretical sense, it was just an idea I had. I figured there would be some sort of difference that wouldn't allow it to work. Though, I've never seen an S4 OMP in my life.
