just replaced water thermo sensor and set tps, car no start.

well i just got done replacing my water thermo sensor and setting my tps to 1.00 volts and my car wont start.

i replaced the sensor a couple hours ago and the car was fine but i went out there just now to set the tps and make sure that the plug for the sensor was plugged in (which it was not before) and the car wont start.
could my car be not wanting to start because of plugging in this new water thermo sensor?

ok i disconnected the sensor plug and it starts up and runs just like it always did... what gives? i started the car with it disconnected, and connected it will it was running. i drove to the gas station and the car was idling really low and irratically. so i unplugged the *new* water thermo sensor and the idle smoothed out and it ran just like it always did...
