Smile Just put up a webpage for my FC

It's my first attempt at doing this and it was easy to do since I didn't have type any code but getting the layout right and creativity isn't my forte.

Here it is in any case if you'd like to check it out.

It's all bolted in tight. I've had it changed up a little bit since those pics were taken. The same stuff is in there but the sub box is a bit smaller and lighter and the amps have been relocated so the large wooden platform they were sitting on has been removed and replaced with a lighter, less fancy design.

I coiuldn't access the fuel pump with that setup and I need a new fuel pump. Heheh didn't think about that when we did it. It's about 150 lbs lighter now though and I have access to the fuel pump panel.

I just don't have any new pics of the back yet.

What size are those woofers? 12"? 10"?

What kind of music do you listen to?

those custom door panels are excelent. i was thinking of making some myself, because the stock carpet covering the front speakers makes it so i can't even hear them. did you do it yourself or have a shop do it?

Hey thanks guys. I'm not into the audio scene and don't even know anyone who has really built up thier car stereo. I just did it for me. I enjoy music alot and have always wanted a nice audio setup in my car.

The subs are 12" HX2's and I mainly listen to classic rock and Jazz. I also like symphony, modern rock and pop and the occassional R&B and rap songs.

The door panels were custom made by a shop in Lubbock, TX. stanscarstereo.com is thier addy, the guys name is Jimmy who actually did all the work. That same design and material was also used for the panel behind the seats, I've got a picture of it someplace.

It all sounds really good. I was more into sound quality than SPL but it has both, it's not going to win any SPL contests (it's enough to move your hair or blow your cap off your head but not enough to hurt you) but it would place well in sound quality

You didn't read the body message did you? It said the car is currently at Marvelspeed in Rowlett getting a rebuild and 460 is a number we are shooting for. It should be close, Turbonetics 62-1 .96 divided, Tial BOV, Tail wastegate, big fmic, Don Marvel large streetport, Haltech E6K, PRofec B, 1600 secondaries, 3rd gen rotors, 3mm apex seals, already have 3"dp, cat replacement pipe and apexi N1 single side exhaust. Going with a 9# (12# with the counterweight) flywheel and whatever other magic Don wants to put into it.

Should be close to being done. I took it down there about 3 weeks ago. Probably another week I'll have it back and don't worry I'm gonna post mad pics yo!!

Damn!! Okay, I guess you can put all the heavy audio crap in there if you can tow it around with that motor!

When you said you have alot of amps, I didn't know you had 5 amps total that are putting out approximately 2000 watts rms. Thats Insane but you'll be able to support that.

I'd really like to get some video of it in digital form on the web but how is it done? I have a good video camera (sony) but it's not a digital cam, it takes the small vhs looking tapes. I remember someone saying I needed a video capture card. Is that all I need?

Well, i don't have money to burn but my banker has money to lend me to burn. Should have it payed off in 3 years though!

LOL yeah 5 amps, 3 are showing the other 2 are mounted under the side panels. I actually pieced it all together from various auctions and internet specials when I could find them. Took me about 6 months to get all the components rounded up. There are some good deals to be found, it just takes some time and digging around to find them.

I'm glad you all like it!! It's taken me a long time to finally be in a position to build up my dream car. I'm 31 now and pretty much work all the time but I think it's all gonna be worth it once it finally comes together.

I'm gonna drive it like I stole it too .. No sence in building up a beast just to look at aye!!

Wel the trim is actually the stock trim that has been filled in with 2 small strips of wood to get the stereo fit just right then it was fiberglassed in and molded round then textured and painted.
