Exclamation Help!!!

ok, i was driving my TII down the highway when i notice white smoke coming out the back end, i look down at the temp gauge and its nearly pegged. i pull off at the nearest exit with smoke coming out my scoop and out the *** of the car, and park it at the closet gas station. turns out one of my heater hoses busted. it takes awhile but i finally get everything i need to remedy the situation. i replace the hose and there aren't anymore coolant leaks... but, my temperature gauge still climbs to the top, no hot air comes out when i turn on the heater (just a lot of cool air), and i'm blowing giant clouds of white smoke out the back. sorry, i dont really have time to search the past threads. i'm hoping its not something internal but i'm afraid it might be. anyone have any similiar expieriences or suggestions? please help.

Quotes from a couple threads:
Blown coolant seal? There are a few ways to check. With the motor cold. Remove the rad cap and start the car. If coolant geysers out, it's a seal. If it burps or farts out a little, you're okay.
Is there a white cloud of smoke out of the tailpipes when you start the car? If so, sniff it. Sickly sweet = coolant seal.

With the car STONE COLD, remove the rad filler cap. Start the car and then walk around to the front and look through the open cap at the coolant. Do you see a steady stream of bubbles coming from somwhere in the engine? Now rev the engine by grabbing the throttle arm at the throttle body. When you rev, do the bubbles increase or coolant gush out?

If the answer to both of these is "yes", then it sounds like one of the coolant o-rings in the engine has failed. Unfortunately, this means the engine must be rebuilt to correct the problem.

if you peged the temp gauge and now have smoke out the exhuast. 90% chance the engine is now toast... and will require a full rebuild or replacment.

first try that starting with the rad cap off. but look at it while cranking. water will probably shoot up. if so very bad.
