Vacuum hoses, of course, test the oil injectors per the FSM and check/clean the the fuel injector diffusers. Be very carefull with the diffusers, they can be very brittle.

And clean everything. Paint, polish, spit shine, etc..

Haha I just took mine off...Sent my injectors to get cleaned and calibrated. Replacing all the fuels and vacuum lines. Using deep purple to clean off the UIM and fuel rails and top of the engine. While I have access to them I am blocking off the oil injectors. (I know I need to use blockoff plate on that other area.) Installing banjo bolt since my thing leaks. I'm proboally doing some other stuff, but can't think of it right now...too busy worrying whether or not my stuff will come back before the west coast bbq.

^^^ that and replace the injector o-ring and grommets. Kits cost around $2.75 each at Kragen. Easy fix if you are going to pull out those diffusers. I heard that you can't get the diffusers out (not criticizing) without at least one breaking.

Get new fuel lines as well.

Put new coolant lines on while you can get to them. (the two small preformed ones that go to the intake)

Last but not least put a new PD on there if you haven't already. Search the thread in the archives if your unclear as to why I say this

Watch out for those Green and white little valves on your exhaust lines. They are brittle BUT very expensive to replace. The Stealership charged me $32 for one. Also there are some green and black ones that are slightly bigger. Watch those as well.

Not sure if it is located in the same place on the Turbo as the NA but you should consider doing the Banjo bolt mod to get rid of the FPD.
Somebody please jump in if the turbo is different from the NA.

Why'd ya do it?? Why'd you have to say that???

Apexi 7 Just read the thread "skeptic of Banjo" in the archives. You too, Charlie. We'll talk next week after you've read through all 87 pages of why or why not to do this mod.

In the meantime stick to the subject.

Get injectors rebuilt, clean motor, new fuel lines, new vacuum lines, check omp lines (tend to crack EASY), check your primary fuel rail pd (if the screw is missing on the end of the bell looking thing, the pd could be going bad soon), put new gaskets, block off things if you want, change coolant hoses that go thru there, etc. I basically did all this when i had my uim off hehe and i got a new lim gasket, old one was shot!

^^oh you mean if you send your injectors in "the guy" will replace all the o-rings and gommets. Understood. My comment was as if you weren't sending in your injectors.

Did any of your diffusers break?
