just installed my corksport silencer...GOT A WIRD PROBLEM!

i dont even know if this matters, but i (within a week), installed a highflow cat and i just got the corksport silencer, so i just took it for a spin, right around the block, the car started VERY STRANGLY reving between 1k and 2k on its own pretty fast.

will a change in backpressure screw up something?

its freaking me out, i hope something broke.
it cant be a seal because its still a smooth powerband.

this sucks, i just spent 5 hours doing the entire front brakes.

Not exhaust related.

Does it do it constantly or just on start up?
Start up could be just part of the warm up process.
or
I've hear of stuff getting sucked into the manifold and getting the butterfly's stuck

Are you sure the TID is not cracked? Have you done ANYTHING else besides the exhaust?

If there are no vacuum leaks, it sounds like a TPS issue, but it is odd for it to happen all of a sudden.

it just happend out of the blue yes. i thought it had something to do with the backpressure because it began 10 minutes after i installed the silencer.
the only problem with the TID is that it comes loss from the turbo, thats about it. the car was pretty warm when it began.

im going to bring it to J&R tomorrow to see whats going on..

Is it ok to drive like this??

I can guarantee it has nothing to do with backpressure. You need to check for vacuum leaks, loose wires (at the TPS) and set the TPS to the proper spec.

looks like its either the TID or the TPS.

if it happend out of the blue, from what i have read, it probably isent the TPS. Might have to just fabricate a TID for myself.

either or im headin over to the shop for the pros to check it out.

well it wasent the TPS, i going to make a TID to finally seal up the turbo.
theres a possibility that my injectors are screwed up, so if this surging problem continues im going to being it back to the shop for a injector testing and cleaning/replacing. well see what happens.
