What do you think I should use, just basic gasket material? Maby something in a tube?

The dealer sells the proper gaskets. There are only 2 sizes - one for the mufflers, and one for all the other connections. They're about $8/each at the dealer. Also, you could go to the local muffler shop and buy them.

Its an aftermarket 3'' turbo-back system. Do I need a gasket for the downpipe where it eets the turbo? Thanks

i could be wrong but dont they sell large peices of gasket that you can cut to your own size?

that would be nice if they had big sheets of high heat gasket you could buy...

at least i havent seen them before...if anyone has...let us in on the secret

I dont think regular gasket material will hold up to the heat of the exhaust.
Racingbeat sells gaskets, but they are usually only for the RB system. You can try a local parts store (i.e. NAPA, AutoZone, etc.). They have a book and can usually match something up. Of course if its a RB system you will have to order it from them.

i bought a gasket from NAPA.... cheap...2 bucks.... it was paper thin and junk... i returned it...

I called up Mazda and they could order a turbo gasket for 18$ and it would take a damn week! So I said **** it and called up carquest. thay said that they have a chart of exhaust gaskets and I could bring exhaust in to line it up. Its a regional distributer so the guys working arn't dumb ***** and they have a very large inventory so...............I'll try that I guess.

Most "True" Muffler shops will have almost all type and size of gaskets in stock.
