Just got my pineapple racing Dual EGT gauge in
I'm actually installing mine right now
The only difference is I'm running a GReddy log style mani. (cast) so for me, tapping is a good option since I have alot more "meat" for the probe to seat in.
Make sure you get the placement right on the probes because the steel ends (where the wires come out) are hard to bend (and really shouldn't be bent
)and you don't want to have them run into the engine cradle/wastegate/lower intake etc.
BTW, I noticed how you commented on the money being gone.............now the money is in the form of parts
Good luck!

haha Gotta love the service industry
OK, I got the probes installed and tested them.
I'll attach some pics of the orientation of the probes for reference.
Also, I had a brainfart when looking at the gauge and figuring out whether to put the front on the left or right? Simply because the gauge input is on the opposite side of the read out, but for reference:
Front rotor goes to the "R" input
Rear rotor goes to the "L" input
Also, the probe for the front rotor could stand to be placed closer to the top of its exhaust runner. But it will work where it is, you can still access all the LIM bolts and the turbo/waterpump/etc. doesn't touch anything. I was leary to put them in the bottom of the mani. given that the engine mount runs right along them and I'm not putting the engine it only to pull the exhaust mani. back off and verify the clearance.
Here's the pics
EDIT: Frank, since you're using a hybrid, you may want to play around with placement of your front probe. Simply because the stock mani. places the turbomuch closer to the engine, I feel you *may* run into a problem with the placement I have here. But verify it before drilling your holes, thats all
