Just got my Greddy FMIC today!

I can't wait to get this bad boy installed. I just wonder how long it will take to install.

Anyone in here have experience with installing the 2-Row Greddy FMIC?

I've done about half of the install - I've got the core installed and the holes for the piping cut. I need to put an engine in the car to really hook up the rest of the piping .

Give yourself plenty of time to install it - it's a big job.

Maybe, it really depends on if you have all the tools and stuff you need, etc.

That's why one of the best upgrades you can buy is a daily driver RX-7 - so you can put your car down and take your time working on it.

Anyhow, plan out the installation of the piping and figure out what you're going to do about the BOV - you'll probably need to get a flange welded on beforehand.

A bigger intercooler dosen't gain any horespower directly, however it allows you to run more boost safely. That adds HP.

I could lend a hand if you want. I have never installed a front mount before but I am planning on getting one for my TII sometime soon.

True to some extent. However, the stock intercooler is such a major restriction at elevated boost levels, you will likely get more power and boost response throughout the powerband.

Not to mention the intake charge will be MUCH colder.

I would install a water temp gauge first before you start... expect overheating if you still have a stock rad. I think everyone else has.
