Just found this site. Can you help me out with my 89 TII

Hey guys, I am looking foreward to learning more about my beloved TII from you. I have been an avid fan of rx7s for a long time but still have a lot to learn. Here's the deal right now, I just baught a very very nice 89 red tII that I will probably keep forever because it is the nicest one that I have ever saw around here and I have wanted a series 5 for a long time and finally got a great deal on one. It has many mods already but someone got their skinners on it and took the upper intake off adn didn't get it back together so, I could use some help as I get it back together and further modify my baby! Ok, under the upper intake, right on top of the center rotor housing, there is something there that I can not identify adn really need to know what this is. It is bolted to the top of the rotor housing with two bolts and opens toward the drivers side with a round opening about an inch and a half or so, it looks like there is something missing there but I have no idea what this is. It isn't on the series 4 engines at all, just a raised flat spot on the rotor housing. Can anyone tell me what this is? The engine may even be a j spec engine because another engine has been put in it lately. thanks for any help guys!

Hey Scott, man, you are everywhere huh? I am black turbo II on teh other forum, I just wanted to see if anyone else has any information on this thing that I am looking for. I tried to put an arrow on your pic where this thing goes but it won't post it for some reason. It mounts with two bolts right betwee the two little square things on top of the rotor housings on that flat space that is raised a little yours doesn't even have the bolt holes for it! I took the upper intake off this evening so I can take a picture of this thing, can I get your email so that I can send it to you when I take it I can't get this site to work for me. thanks man...
