Just bought a new 7, couple of concerns

Hey guys, I just bought another 7 (86 GTX ATM), and I have discovered a couple of things that are wrong. First, I had to rerun all the wiring for the speakers (long story), and when I was doing this I found a loose plugin. I plugged it back in, and it goes to what looks like a pcm, although I know the pcm is under the floorboard on the passenger side. It's location is just under the dash, pretty much inline with the steering column. Before, the power steering wasn't working, and now that its plugged back in, its started working. Also, after a couple of minutes it starts beeping like its a bomb thats about to blow up. It varies the number of times it beeps, anywhere from 2 to 8ish (its very late and i'm tired).

The next thing has to do with the information panel. The connection to it, I'm fairly sure, is loose. I've unplugged it and plugged it back in, but the clock still randomly turns off or resets, and if I hit the dash directly over it when it goes off, it normally comes right back on. Also, when you turn the key on, shouldn't all those lights kick on for a second? I know that the gas light, the windshield washer fluid light, the door light, the seat belt light, and the hatch light all work because they've come on at one point or another, but is there a way to force the others to come on so I can make sure they work?

Third, this is more just curiosity, but under the center console, I found an extra plug-in. It's the plug-in for the factory security light, so does this mean the car has a factory alarm, or did they just use the same harness for all the cars?

Thanks in advance,
Chris
