just bought a 87fc n/a

This is my second Rx-7 ,I own a 86 fc n/a,My 86 was in a front end wreck,I got the 87 for parts,The 87 has been sitting for 5years,The motor still turns over!!Hisses!!I filled the spark plug holes with M&M.And gave her a few turns with a ratchet. My question...Is this motor any good? The last time it was ran it ran like ****!!The kid told me the motor was a factory rebuild he had paper work for it.He think's it need a fuel filter..I pulled the covers over the tank, fuel filler hose and vent tube are rotted!!I got the car for $600 the body is in really bad shape!!Lots of rot..Good hood,Good to fair fenders,Good bumper covers,Good glass, leaking moon roof...Mold all over the inside of her..Sounds like a nasty chick I once knew!!!Any way I want to store this heap and do the work it needs..What will it cost me????

I coulda swore someone else had a TII that they bought that looked EXACTLY like that. EXACTLY.

Minus the GXL wheels and N/A hood.

What are the odds of that? I just about posted "Hey! You stole that guys pic and your playin' it off like it's your own!"

you are correct there sir! the person you speak of is my friend "maynard5000" on here, brandon by real name....

he actually got his TII for free though, it didnt run and now it does, and he's in the middle of fixing/putting everything back together...he also has a site of all what he has done, here's the part of the site where the pictures of the moldy car are http://home.comcast.net/~sellah5000/rx-7.html

We wouldn't have much of a forum if we closed or deleted all the pointless threads..

Put a magnet to that hood. The car looks to be a Sport and should have an aluminum hood.
