junkyard springs

I was just at the junkyard and there was an 87 RX-7 with some springs that were red, and they weren't painted red it was some other kind of coating, and the springs had to have been taken off to do this. The car was had tinted windows, KNN airfilter and newer paint so I am going to say they were lowering springs.

Should i take the risk and buy them or do you think they are just took the springs off to recoat them, it will only cost me $12.50 per spring.

The car had stock adjustable shocks and 5 lug wheels will the springs fit my car anyways with the 4 lug wheels and what kind of springs are painted red i know eibachs are.

eibachs i think are the only ones. hks's are purple, greddy's purple/blue, st grey/black, sprint, purple. most eibach springs have their name stamped on em. looks like a good opporutunity to strip some parts off hehe

If they are Racing Beat, they'll say Racing Beat in white on the coils.

The Eibachs on my T2 were black and said Eibach on them. I'd say go for it if you got $50 burning a whole in your pocket.
