junked 7 part III

ok,i got up this morning and hit up the junk yard well it took WAY WAY longer than i thought it took me from 9am to 3 pm i got it and checked compression and i read mid 90'2 on both houseings! well next weekend im going to take out the motor from my 86 GXL. just thought i would update

I figured a little more time than you estimated. I mean I didn't want to be Mr. Negative but you had pretty lofty goals about getting this out and moving that one there.......

It's not easy when your trying to do it right. You'll spend a good thirty minutes just trying to get the wiring harness out of the cabin.

did you get the whole motor??? I mean did you take the intakes and complete wiring harness and alternator???

i hope the harness connectors are in good order cause i thought the same thing til it came time to unplug well lets just say i had to pull the harness off the other donor shell REALLY carefully like(talk bout a f%^&%in b@#$h)cause i the injectors and etc. crumbled at touch damn near. good luck . you may need it

Injector connectors are only $18 for 6 on ebay.... 4 injectors, 1 bac, 1 water temp.... Perfect set. Easy to solder and heatshrink new ones one too.....
