Ill save everyone the trouble and just say that i am a giant ******* moron

I have one of those little things that you can charge and jump your car off of. I wont beat around the bush, I connected it in a circuit(neg to neg and pos to pos)

I got a jump from another guy and it started fine. Everything works except for the interior map lights and my head unit. I looked at the fuses and they dont look blown. Did I fry that stuff or is there something else I fucked up?

 

you fried a fuse. i think it's the one that says "ROOM 7.5A" for some reason everytime i do a modification/check-up that's the fuse that seems to blow. instead of using the 7.5A fuses i use 10A. lasts longer.

 

hmm. I didnt look at that one, Ill go take a look.

lol yea ive had those stupid days.. i snipped the wiring harness for a deck without unplugging it first n popped the 7.5 fuse.. nows theres a 15 in it..lmao

 

We had to read it..haha..just ribbin ya ..lucky you didn't cross up negative to positive..I have heard of batteries exploding when boosting..

ya, my friend came over and was a dumbass and tried to recharge my battery...put negative onto positive and vice versa...

battery got really hot, and wound up killing it
that and somehow it exhausted the main fuse and blew it :-(

 

just think of it this way.. sectachrome..heh,heh..(could have been doin acid!)..right now,you ARE a LEGEND!!..in your own mind!..(had to bro!)
