after searching i didnt find a step by step write up on how to convert a car with manual windows to one with power and was wondering if anyone was interested?

if not i wont waste my time taking pics and notes of EVERYTHING that has to be done. from what ive looked at besides just swapping the parts in would be making my own harness and spicing into the factory harness.

I am sure someone will find it useful. With all the other work, I always look for cars with all the accessories installed. I wont even do an auto to manual conversion

 

That would be nice. I was recently thinking of doing the opposite, is it worth it for the weight savings?...later

 

with the opposite its like 9lbs per door i think. some one weighed all the parts and listed them if you want to search.

 

I'm interested. Someone did the switch before I got the car only something's wrong with the driver's side door. I know what's wrong, but I don't know how to fix it. If you're doing a write-up, it'd be so appreciated!
