jspec s4 TII vac etc.. question.
Just a couple of differant things while I'm cleaning up my engine bay while my uim is off.
a) on the jspec or any uim for that matter is everything nipple that goes into it a vac sourse???
b) did you guys replace the vac lines to the oil injectors or keep stock?? Also did you zip tie or hose clamp them???
c) I need to have a vac sourse for
1. oil injectors
2. fuel pressure regulator
3. boost
4. ????
d) (this one is for wayne, lol) What color is the wire that is supposed to go into the top of the waterpump housing?
e) Not really that big a deal because I think I saw it on rotaryressurections website but what oil line do you cap off at the oil filler tube and which one do you leave open????
Thanks.

I just got done doing this exact thing with my turbo swap. You need vaccum to the oil injectors, boost sensor, fpr, and the bleed vents on the fuel injectors. They all go to different nipples on the t/b. Also there were a coulple vac lines connecting the upper ,lower, and T/b together, i dont know if those are important so i left them, dont know the purpose of them.
If this is what you mean, The black plug on the thermostat housing is for the electric fan(not all cars have this one) The green plug is for the ecu's water temp.reference.I am not sure of the actual wire colors
For the Oil filer i caped the bottom one and vented the top one with a hose down to under neath the car. I dont know if this is correct.
I removed all of the steel piping under the t/b-manifold(rats-nest), and selinoid rack and just ran new fuel line from the filter to the main fuel rail and from the Fpr to the fuel return on the fire wall. It would clean it up for you nicely under there. This is only if you have all of your emissons removed like me.
not sure if this is what you wanted so dont flame me or anything

thats perfect I am cleaning up everything right now and daymn does it make a differance! I had wires and vac hoses everywhere now I reduced it to two (boost gauge, boost controller) going to a tee right at the firewall so it really is only one vac line instead of like 10. Anyways your help is great! The only thing I'm confused on is the bleed vents where do those go??? Also I'm talking about the sensor ont he very top of the water pump housing. I do have the electric fan witch I ended up taking all the a/c crap out sunday however installed the electric fan back for added cooling so I need to find out what wire color it is that goes to that sensor on the top of the w/p housing. Thanks for your help

If i remember right for the bleed vents, The front one connects to the back one ( the back inector has two nipples on it, one facing forward and one facing back.) Then the other nipple on the back injector goes up to one of the three nipples on the back side of the throttle body. Not sure witch one. The bigger one of the three nipples is for the oil injectors(big line goes to a 4way splitter if you still are using it. this is all off of memory but i think it is right.
I dont know what wire you are talking about, explain the location more, I only have two wires in that area on mine.

On the front of the UIM there are three nipples. The top and bottom ones are fed from behind the throttle (vacuum) and the middle on is fed from in front of the throttle (no vacuum).
On the back of the A-spec UIM there are four nipples. The bottom one is fed from behind the throttle (vacuum) and the top three are fed from in front of the throttle (no vacuum).
On the back of the J-spec UIM there are two nipples. Both are fed front in front of the throttle (no vacuum).
