for whatever reason i cant start a thread on the rx-8 forum so i'll ask my fellow fc lovers is the rx-8 coming out in japan before it comes out in the US? and is the jdm rx-8 going to have more power then the US market (like cars always do) if so how much?

 

its a bit to early to know what differences they will have.

 

on the 13B-revolve, lots more NA HP - a bit more NA torque. Boosted HP hasn't been released

 

.......I heard that they are going to tune down the HP on RX8's somewhat on automatic transmission models. So, if you put a deposit down, might be a good idea to specify the 5 speed versions unless you are left foot/right hand challenged.

 

BTW - I'm REALLY!!!! excited to see what's happening with the new automatic rotaries.

I'm hoping mazda will tryout the new technology coming out on other cars - continously varialbe transmissions (ie no gears).

I'm hoping we'll see some good 0-60 auto scores with the new technology (and put the crappy auto slug issue to rest).
