JSPEC engine - why buy one?

JSPEC engine - why buy one?

Why is it good to have a JSPEC engine if they produce the same amount of power as a USDM engine? Ive been told the blocks are indentical.

they are not better. They are generally more available, have less miles than other used engines, and much more affordable than a rebuild.
