Bought by my dad, new, sold to my brother for a short time, and then to me in 2003, it is time for me to start thinking about selling my RX-7.
My nephew does automotive work in Fort Collins, CO, so he would like to get the word out for me. But I need to have some idea of what to ask for the car,...so I've come here for expert opinions!
It's easy - the car has the original 43,018 on the OD, has it's original bra, boot cover, and factory top. Here's recent pics:
I sure hate to sell the car, but age is catching up with me - luckily the car doesn't show the years!! And it runs just like it was still 1988,...
Thank you very much, in advance, guys!
I sure appreciate the forum being here, all of these years!
Looks to be in great shape. These cars are selling for various prices depending on condition. It looks clean as is but I'd get a professional detail, take more pics and post it on BAT. I haven't been looking at current prices closely but I've seen some clean examples go for 20-25k.
j9fd3s NAILED it! I've got these original items, also:
You can see Pastor Motors business stamp,...
And the car has the near perfect '88 Owner's Manual in the glovebox - the one it came with.
I thought these cars were only worth about $7- 9,000,...especially since it is normally aspirated, and not turbo. Anyway, thanks for the input. I'll try locally and then go to Bring A Trailer, if I hear nothing.
I'm in no hurry,...

save yourself the trouble and just go straight to BAT. Honest transactions and little tire kicking is why they sell well there. You have a beauty there.
Holy Garbanzos, guys!
Thank you so much! And my RX-7 thanks you for the complements, also,...!
It's always been kept under a nice car cover during the winters, and I try to get it out each spring/summer, for 'short runs' . We keep it licensed all of the time, so we can drive it when we like. Anymore, it rarely leaves pretty well deserted, north Colorado back-road pavement,...due to other drivers' obvious lack of skill.
I'll go directly to BAT, per your advice, thanks! It's not perfect, by any means, but it is almost completely original, and it's just SO MUCH FUN!!
I will also let you all know what happens,...
Chow, for now!
Todd.
