If he's running 13's with his N/A he's done a helluva lot more work to his motor then just adding a "JET CHIP" to his ecu.

I seriously doubt said chip will do better then, or even hold a candle to, a custom tuned S-AFC, or a better yet, a standalone ECU.

I've also heard that the supra guys are not too fond of JET chips.

there was a good chip by a place called mdrace or something that was far superior to the jet chip but it is not made anymore unless it was sold to superchips. anyways along with modding the fuel curve it significtly altered the timing for low and mid range producing a good increase in torque over just playing with the fuel maps but dropped the timing off during high rpm usage to give a nice power band. i dont think you could manually change the timing to do what the chip did so in that regard it is better but im sure a safc tuned to a specific car setup would be better. btw im not positive on what mdrace did, but what i wrote above is what im pretty sure i have read about it before, but if im wrong im wrong. so ill need some backup on this one.

well for the price of both an SAFC and a ECU including dyno time and a o2 sensor... it be cheaper to just get an ENGINE STANDALONE SYSTEM. Oh well, my engine is being rebuild and so is my tranny. SO far all i have is a streetport. According to Jet chips they said with only the streetport i could get 13-15 whp... so oh well ill get teh SAFC and see whats up!
