how did jesus padilla get his all motor rx7 to run 10's? what kinda parts would give someone power like that?

Unfortunately, 20B's are banned for use in all motor in 2003. Jesus will be switching to a 13B. Can't wait to see him and Ken Scheepers fighting for the top spot!(I'm not really even considering other competitors )

Ken was in the 10's with his 13B all motor FB last year.
Basically Jesus dominated every event, and Ken got second in most of the events - about 0.5 - 1.0 seconds behind Jesus's times.

 

20b drivetrain.. custom intake and exhaust manifolds, holley 850.. on a 1985 gsl-se ......... lets not forget the best part.. Peripheral port.. Hes at Ortiz Speed Shop down the road from my house.... We call Him Kilo...

 

He dosen't use a Holley carb. He uses a Porsche spec Weber carb on a PP 20B.

 

Any info about what his 13B setup for 2003 will consist of?
Probably something pretty close to Ken's.

 

Ken is running pports made by Kilo (Jesus). I am building a set for Ken to the same spec and using a special alloy on the apex surface.
Ken has a lot of admiration for Kilo and they are friends. There is a strange openess between the two and it is hard to believe they are actually competitors.
This is not something I am used to seeing at this level of the sport.

 

What's he using for the water pump drive on that thing?
